Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
It is impossible for there not to be life in this universe. Is this the only universe in all the cosmos, seen and unseen? Good and evil does not exist out there. We could meet beings who believe all others are cattle. Not because of a evil faith but because it is their destiny. Look at what man has done. If they are some what like us, we might assume they will have our feelings. Logic to me says we are all brothers. But some think otherwise. Our race has learned to be civilized, ha! But a truly civilizes race, one who has learned from all their mistakes , would see us as on the road to true civilization.

What we send is impossible to understand how others will react. We can only show our humanity and our decency. I run seti because if we can find that which we seek, our history can eliminate many mistakes that are not needed to make, hopefully anyway. Who knows our civilization may be the most violent in the universe. May the truth we seek be what we find.
