I am a Technology Instructor at Southeast High School, Dalton, Ga. I am 48 and an avid motorcycle rider. Every chance I get I have my bike out exploring north Georgia and all of the surrounding states. I spent 14 years in the Marine Corps (active and reserve) and I served in Desert Storm. I was lucky enough to be in a unit that ended up in Kuwait City and I know the feeling of liberation.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have a lab that sits idle during the night and weekends. The computers are already running so it just kinda makes sense. I can remember (as a kid) sitting with my old telescope in the driveway looking at the stars and wondering if we were alone. I believe someone else is there and one day we will find them. Thanks for letting me be a part in the search....
