| I an a high school math and science teacher, and a retired Naval officer.I'm married with three grown children. My interests include hiking, camping, SCUBA, martial arts, astronomy, geocaching, model rocketry, exotic reptiles, and slide rule colleting. I have re-introduced the slide rule to my math classes in an effort to improve the "number sense" of my students. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I think that statisticaly, life must exist outside the Earth, however in the absense of proof I cannot say this is absoultly true. I can't even imagine how or when contact will be made, the possibilities are unlimited. I run SETI@home because I feel it is worthwhile, and it is one wayI can contribute to the overall increase in mankinds knowlege base. |
