Profile: Neil Xenos

Personal background
I am from the resort area of Sussex County Delaware, 70 years old and retired. My interest in astronomy started when my grandfather bought me a book called "The book of the stars" when I was 5 years old. Since I retired my interest has moved more to Astrophysics and Quantum theory. I have a telescope although finding unobstructed viewing in this area can be quite a chore due to the overcast that is part of living near an ocean. I have been a member of SETI sine May 24 ,1999 and have 3348 units to date ( May 23,2004). I have also been a member of the PLANETARY SOCIETY for that time.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am a firm believer that it is totally illogical to believe that we are alone in our arm of the Milky Way let alone in the universe. I also believe we have already been long ago "discovered". I run SETI@HOME for the obvious reason, to help us communicate with those living in other solar systems.
