Personal background
my life is still under construction ;-))
i´m studying the more earthly matter of human dentistry but have a keen interest in physics, astrophysics and astronomy since childhood. would be funny to be the first specialist in extraterrestrial dentistry.i've always been fascinated by the night sky, but it was more one of an aesthetical fascination by the universe´s distances, the star´s brightness, and colors, the shapes and rules of physics in space, then wondering about the possibility of life in space. beeing a stargazer, i know many starconstellations of the northern hemisphere and hope to get to know the southern constellations some time.
to become a dds is expensive,so my pc is an relatively "old fart", slow and sensible, but already p4.but to make it good, i run seti on my notebook too :-)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home

think about it!

think about all these stars, all these galaxies all opportunities to create life and you will find it utterly unlikely that we are the only living planet in "our" universe. and thus it may be not at all farfetched to speculate about extraterrestrial intelligence. in this vast universe everything seems possible, but i always try to abide by ockham´s razor.
but even if we couldn´t find et it should yield some results for our general knowlegde, especially in astronomy, physics and cosmology.

isn´t that worthwhile?
