I am a soon to be 55 yr old male residing in Florida, USA. I have only been on a home computer for just over a year. A friend of mine said that I should get Seti and I'm glad I did. I really believe that there is other life out there. There is no way something as large as the Universe could only have intelligent life on one little speck of dirt. We may have already found it but dont know how to detect it. I strongly feel that Life will be found in my lifetime and hope that I am a part of it.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that Seti@home is a great idea. There is no other scientific work going on that I'm aware of that includes as many everyday people as Seti@home.
