Personal background
A 15 year old geek from the Netherlands, proud to be on the Seti@Netherlands team. There's not much to tell about myself, just that I've always been fascinated by computing en-masse. When I found out about Seti@home several years ago I immediatly decided to join in, but my father didn't allow me to run the client on his PC. Now that I finally got my own PC worthy of doing some number crunching the client is my main task, running constantly in the background.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that there is no such thing as E.T, and I participate in order to prove it. I think that if there is E.T. out there we need to be very careful as to what we send I think that once we find it sending out something quite universal like prime numbers (from the movie Contact) would be a good idea, to show the alien lifeforms that we mean no harm.

I run SETI@home (also SETI@school) to be able to say I did something for the human race. Even though there may not be such a thing as E.T.I. I think I still helped by proving there isn't. If there is, it's nice to know I've been part of that too.
