| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I stumbled across this programm quite by accident some months ago. I really have a lot of faith that it is these kind of multiuser strategies that will lead us, as a species to greatness.
I do believe in extraterrestrial live, the benifits and dangers of interacting with any new culture I think will depend on who is communicating with them and their culture.
Sure we should send beacons as others may be looking for us, I would think information as to our location is all that is needed for the time being.
