My real name is Liz and I reside in the west 'burbs of Chicago, IL. I'm 23 years old and I am studying to become a Child Psychologist. I work with children with learning disabilities and my hobbies include volunteering, hiking, working out, anything involving art and music, tennis, swimming, basketball, and of course astronomy.
My favorite movie to date is "Contact", and I enjoy reading books about the cosmos. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I think we would be most egocentric to think that we are alone in the universe, especially after the discovery of S0 MANY extra-solar planets recently! As a society, we have to come together with SETI and realize that there is so much out there that we have yet to discover.
However, I do believe that there are ET's out there, but they are purposely not contacting us for a reason. Maybe to protect us, or maybe to let us evolve on our own. One day we'll find out. :) |
