Personal background
Hey there not much really just that I never really "believed" I sorta just knew that there has to be "others" out there . We can not be the only island of life (quote a phrase from a SiFi show) as we know it.
I am 48 live in Australia on the eastern side (the best side of course) near Sydney.
My hobbies include umm well mostly only this thing (damn computers) though my life does not revolve around it I do get out the door at times to join the "REAL" world.
I discovered SETI (the program) several years ago when searching for a program for the AMIGA computer (insert add here) Distant Suns (which has been ported over an rewritten for PC's) a good proggy for looking at the sky (virtual) and with predictions of comming events etc (REALLY sounds like an add don't it lol).
Well that about sums that up Thanks for listening folks...
I am just a normal fella no IT or web design etc background just me I like to know
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Answer to Q1 yes and well no more to the yes side of the argument .

Answer to Q2 again yes and no this about 50/50 here it is a good thing but could also attract the wrong element but that is a risk no matter who looks at it

Answer to Q3 I think any little bit helps the more data crunched the better it is takes a load off the poor observers who record then ATTEMPT to study the data by them selves. The project is good no suggestions at this present time.

Keep up the good work SETI team
