| I'm oroginally from Fredericksburg, VA, but currently living in Las Vegas, NV. Vegas has been my home for the last two of my 27 years on this, the only planet int the known galaxy to be inhabited. On my off time I enjoy a good first person shooter and spending time with my daughter. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| It seems SETI@home is a sensible way to attemt to locate life on other planets. It brings together some great scientific minds and the best of the internet. Imagine a global community working together to sift through an astronomical (no pun intended) amount of data as a team! I do have one thought on the whole ET subject. If, as in many science fiction stories, there is one great race that predates all others, the great ones so to speak, who is to say that that race is not us? What if we are the first race and the others have yet to develop? Just a thought. |
