Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have been running SETI@Home for several years under Classic. I am an amatuer (very amateur) astronomer and have been interested in space and astronomy my entire life. Having to get up before dawn to go to work is okay becuase the ISS usually passes over our house between 5am and 6am to I can catch a glimpse if I time it right!
I like the new BOINC system better than the Classic, becasue I can easily have several of my computers running together. I guess this was possible before, but I have a mixture of OSs running and could never be bothered getting it up and running on all of them.
