Personal background
I have know only my own PC, it's a ADM Athlon 1100MHz, but this one is running the most time of the day. Seti is obviously running all the time.

I hope can do it on some other PC's in my friendship, so there would be more Computers "Online".
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I think, there MUST be extraterrestical life.

The question is not, if there is life. The question is: How far is this life?

If I should be honest, I do not think, that the next "Blue Planet" is in a distance that a lifeform or whatever can cross.

But, If I lay wrong (I'm hoping so!). Then we should pay attention to find this signal that was sent to us.

If there there will really be the "First Contact". I will hope, that it will be a peaceful one. (Only think about the horror scenarios at the actuall Sci-Fi movies)

When they are more "technologized" than us, I hope that they willl share there technics with us, but only the peaceful ones.

2. Yes, but you should pay attention with your choose. If you send the wrong technics like missle blueprints. You should not wonder, what the answer could be!

3. It's only logic, when you sais that your servers and computers are helpless overruned by the quantity of informations, so why shouldn't we share our unused Copmuterpower for such helpings.

I think that such a project can only be done in such a way.

So: let stay this programm alive!
