| I heard about SETI a long time ago, and recently, while reading the comic strip on hackles.org, saw a link to the homepage. So I decided to sign up, and have been running the software almost 24/7 since. |

I do believe that ExtraTerrestrial life does exist. However, with as big as space is, I'm not sure how long it will take for us to find anything. Then, as many people have said, the alien civilization will be long gone by the time we recieve thier signal.
I kind of think that we should transmit a beacon, though what we should say isn't something I've thought about.
I run SETI@Home for fun, and to keep my computer busy. I also have a web-server running (though I've yet to get any non-robot visitors). |
