| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| As to whether or not I think extraterrestrial life exists, I'd have to say that anyone who doesn't is naive. The world is too vast for us to be in it alone. I'm sure that someday we'll find E.T. life but I'm not holding my breath. Of course, there are dangers involved as there are with any new discovery. Let's say someone finds a bee's nest in a cave and decided to poke it with a stick. The immediate danger of course is to be stung but at least others after him will know the hive is there. |
