I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Appalachian State University in December 2002.
From January 2001 to August 2002 I worked as a software engineer at Nortel Networks in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. I then decided to return to graduate school to pursue my Master's degree, and eventually my PhD in Computer Science.
I am a currently a graduate student in the Computer Science Program at Appalachian State University.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Both SETI and SETI@home are great projects. Even if nothing is found, the technology developed in the pursuit will be valuable in the future.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
