Personal background
Now I'm officially a college graduate. Wohoo! My actually work job is to do software development which is really cool.

In my free time, I enjoy learning new languages and reading up on different technologies. There's a lot of stuff out there to learn and it's going to take awhile to do it.

Besides being a computer geek, I'm also a big Trekkie. It's cool that they've been releasing the TNG seasons on DVD, so when I'm not coding at home, I'm usually re-watching the episodes from the previous seasons. In all fairness I do go outside from time to time. I have a garden and taking the dog to the park is always a fun experience.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think will discover it someday. I think it would be neat to have ships flying around like they do in Star Trek to meet the different forms of life. That's one of the things I have always wanted to do since I was little, join Starfleet. :)

I run SETI@home to give my computers something to do when I'm at work. They get bored and lonely without me.
