Hallo crunch Gefährten. Mein Name ist Sylvester, ich lebe in Reutlingen und ich bin Mitglied des großen "grünen" distributed computing Teams Planeten 3Dnow!
Ich bin 60 Jahre alt, immer noch kein bisschen weise, mit einer tollen Frau verheiratet, habe zwei inzwischen erwachsene Töchter und bin Opa.
Ich habe Nachrichtentechnik studiert und arbeite bei einer großen Firma für Kommunikations Messtechnik als Seminarleiter. Dort bringe ich unseren Kunden unter Anderem bei, wie Telekommunikation über Lichtwellenleiter funktioniert.
Ich liebe Hardware Basteleien. Deshalb sind alle Computer die ich habe, selbst gebaut und das sind inzwischen so einige.
Das kommt natürlich dem Hobby "crunchen" zugute. Meine Computer laufen "stabil" an 7 Tagen in der Woche rund um die Uhr.
Wobei ich und meine Computer ;-) gern für Projekte crunchen, die Menschen helfen.
Seit meiner Jugend bin ich Funkamateur (DC9ZS) weil dieses Hobby die zwei Teile Hardware Basteln und Kontakt zu anderen Menschen ideal verbindet.

Hi comrades and fellow crunchers. My name is Sylvester, I live at Reutlingen / Germany, and I'm a member of the big "green" distributed computing team Planet 3Dnow!
I am 61 years old, still points not in the least, married with a great woman, have two daughters adult in the meantime and am a grandpa.
I have studied communications engineering and work at a big company for communication test and measurement as a seminar leader. There I teach our customer under other how telecommunications works with fibre optics.
I love hardware tinkering. Therefore are all computers I have, built by myselfe and this thus some are.
This is of benefit of course for the hobby "crunchen". My computers run "solidly" on 7 days in the week round-the-clock.
In what I and my computers ;-) crunch with pleasure for projects, which helps human.
Since my youth I am radio amateur (DC9ZS) because this hobby the two parts hardware tinkering and contact with other people ideally connects.
