Profile: Sam Keck

Personal background
My main occupation is pedestrian time traveler --
one step at a time.
I am a semi-retired software engineer having worked as
a junior scientist 25 years at the Desert Research Institute
in Reno Nevada USA in atmospheric physics.
My hobbies are computers, painting, cacti, gardening,
photography, electronics, and a bunch of other stuff
I don't have time for.

On the subject of alien visitors I'll echo the words of
the Dan Hicks song, "Hell yes! I'd Go!"
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The main question for me is "Why aren't we overrun with
aliens? Where is everybody?"
The galaxy should be full of Dyson spheres.
I'll go a little further than Karl Jung and say that
UFOs and alien abductions seem more akin to shamanic
journeying and altered states of consciousness than
to visitors from _Star Trek_.

Well, time's a passing and I like to keep up!
Bye!
