| I do believe extraterrestrial life exists, the known universe is far to large for our planet to be the only one with life, and we really aren't sure how large the universe is. I'm not sure when and how we will discover ET nor am I sure of benefits and dangers... there are just to many unknowns in our world to consider, and then you have to throw in any unknowns that come along with alien life. I think we should transmit a beacon for others and I think one of the easiest things for us to send would be something mathematical, fibonacci's sequence, or pascals triangle. Languages are too hard to understand, we have a hard enough time understanding some of the languages here at home. Math, however, is something that should be readily understood and a good starting point. |
