| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I do believe that extraterrestrial life exists. If mankind is going on to destroy itself (World Wars, Afghanistan, Kosovo etc.), extraterrestrial life won't be discovered or if man do so, somebody will make extreme profit with that :-(.
I think it's very dangerous to transmit a beacon because we don't know what will happen after that transmission. The transmission of a beacon is decided by the very top of the government of any country or by somebody who thinks he is on that place :-(.
I'm running SETI@Home because I want to know if and where there is life in the wide universe. |
