| I live in Cape Town, South Africa and am currently Studying Chemical Engineering at UCT. Although I study Engineering my real passion is computers and stuffing around on them (be careful in BIOS...had big issues here!). I love role player games and am currently enjoying Dungeon Siege. Coffee is also a big priority (Black, 3 sugars). I also do Karate when I have the time, and have represented my University. I also love formula 1 and enjoy working in Linux. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I ran SETI@Home for a short while and then after 4 units I stopped. A year later I found out that SETI was looking at a backlog of 3 years and decided that it was time to do my share. Do aliens exist? Of course! If they didn’t the universe would be an awful waste of space wouldn’t it? As to what they look like, not a clue. But I think little Green men are very far from it. I am the fonder of the group “Chemical Engineers Unite†and I invite all those with this degree, or those busy studying it, to join my group and help out. |
