| I live in Sheboygan Wisconsin, USA, that's just north of Milwaukee. My interestes include astronomy, making armor for my renfair outfit, (I do this by hand) camping, and spending time with my wife and kids. My bigest interest in my life is my martial arts. I think the chances of finding a signal is VERY small unless it's dirrected at us.
Finding a signal would cause some problems with some people, mainly in the religous area. I personally feel that life is every where in the universe. But inteligent life is another story.
I don't belive an alien race would come to take our planet, there is other sources of materials, unihabited planets, astroids, etc. Humans are also bad food sources, we grow slow, and really have little to eat on us. So other then pure conquest, there is no reason to attack our planet. I also feel that an attack would not be like in the movie ID4, No need for powerfull weapons to attack a planet. Rocks are cheep and gravity is free. |
