My name is Galan i live in Seattle, Washington. I first heard about seti from someone at school.

i first started to run the gui version until i had to reinstall windows afterwhich i took a break before continuing to run the cmd line version. i am currently running cmd line seti on my desktop (amd athlon xp 1500 512mb ram) the old family computer (ppro 200mhz 96mb ram).

switched to boinc when it came out. there were never enough work units so i quit running it for about a year.
seems the problem has been fixed.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think it would be cool if we found other life out there but im mainly participating to compete with other people.
