Tell you about meself...
Well, I have 3 computers and a CISCO Router on my home Domain. A Dell Poweredge Server w/ dual p3 800 Coppermine processors running Windows 2000 Server.
The machine hosts 4 websites, Exchange Server, and Active Directory.
My clients:
AMD Thunderbird 800 running Windows XP Pro & an old Dell running Redhat 7.0
I have 3 static IP's on the internet, run my own DNS Server.
MCP, CCNA, MOUS Master, CompTIA Net
Yup, I am all about computers...
oh yea,
I have a Girlfriend, a Daughter, and one more kid on the way.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

SETI@HOME is a pretty cool project in distributed computing.
I sincerely doubt they (we) will ever find anything, but one must look anyway.
The possibility is there :-)
Yes, we shoul;d transmit a beacon for the same reasons as listed above.
I run SETI@HOME because it is good to be a part of a global effort. The world needs more projects that we can all contribute on without it raising our taxes.
