Personal background
Who am i ???
31 years old , computer fanatic since 1983 ...(prior to that messed
around with atari 2600 console and other consoles ...beat PacMan
score counter at the age of 8, a thing i would never be capable to
achieve today,hehe)

My long term relationship with my love Anja hasnt suffered from
my addictions to all sort of gaming, online swooping and lan
party malfunction. Although sadly enuf she doesnt envolve in that
department of my life either (besides cabbing me round to several
places and listening to my choleric boast when something doesnt
work as it should)

Been through about 10 jobs since 1988 ....none of them worth
mentioning ...right now hooked up as a Agent for TNT Express Worldwide,
minimum salary at minimal brain effort :-). Enuf to furnish my
leisure and new hardware for building even more seti arrays.

Right now i run 2 comps with seti hooked up to a dsl line, one Celi 566
and a athlon c 1.2 ghz.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home

I do believe anything in this vast universe is possible.

Although i fear that we will never be capable to make it to
the stars with technology in the next 500 years if ever.

Maybe there are other ways...astral projection...worm holes,
star gates ...who knows...but i wouldnt bet a dime on it.

I dont think we should exspect anyone out there to take notice
of us since we live in the backyard of this galaxy and our
radio signals have traveled like 70 lightyears at most and are of
course very weak signals too.

Btw i dont wanna show aliens this planet right now...since we
cant even live together our save our environment and are ruled
by dumbasses who are elected or not elected by dumbasses.
And other crazy dumbasses trying to kill everyone else just for
the heck of it. Not a place to show your neighbours i would say.

I run SETI cause i think its a waste of resources not to run
it when my comp is idling. So why not do something useful with it.
I dont exspect that we ever find something though.
Also the aspect of this gigantic supernetworked computer fascinates me.

Quote of the day:"Beam me up Scotty , theres no intelligent life down here."
