Personal background |
I'm so out of my element here. In real life, I write soap operas and novels. But I've always had a secret hankering to be involved in the sciences. When I attended UC-Berekely, my hangouts of choice were the science labs.
Besides writing soapy soap operas, my passion if writing humor. With my writing partner, we wrote "Letters from Cleo and Tyrone," a fluffy, funny story about two emailing cats. Hey, we weren't going to for a Pulizer here. Just a chuckle or two would suffice.
Other passions would include animals -- of every shape and size, with the possible exception of reptiles and amphibians. |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
1. Yes, of course I do. I think it would be egocentric beyond belief to think otherwise. I believe discovery of E.T. life can happen at any moment. It's going to throw religion, as we know it, into a frenzy.
2. Yes, a beacon would be terrific. I would include mathematic equations and music.
3. I run SETI because this is going to be the discovery of all the millenium, an I would like to be a tiny part of it. |
