Personal background |
I am currently a student at Messiah College majoring in computer engineering. I am originally from Lancaster, PA and have always had an interest in science and space. I also snowboard and play other sports. Um, yeah, this is really odd kinda so I'll just wind things up saying SETI rocks! By the way, if anyone out there is reading this and is looking for a person such as me to work for you, let me know. Jimmy needs a job! |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I think life outside of our solar system exist and I'm sure someday we'll eventually find it or it will find us. The benefits are just as high as the dangers, but haven't all great discoveries in the past been the same? The question of whether humans need to transmit a signal is rather mute. I mean, haven't we been transmitting signals for years and years now? If ET is within range, they know we're here. SETI@home is an excellent way to unite the world for a common goal. The truth is out there, and one day, we all with learn it. |
