Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Seti@home is intriguing to me for a couple of aspects. First, it is exciting to consider that there may be life out there who is also reaching out. I have always been the inquisitive type and this is definitely a topic that gets my mind going. Second, I am a computer geek and love all things geek. When you think about computer technology and its relatively short history, at least in its PC form, it’s truly amazing that we are able to bring 4 million plus computers together to work in unison, all looking for that one sign that there is someone else out there. In short the science and the technology behind this project are what make it worthwhile to me
