I love the outdoors and have spent many a night under the stars. My favorite place to look UP is at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. I love a good meteor shower! I have seen many a strange sight out in West Texas around the Big Bend area, various parts of New Mexico and of course Arizona. The funniest thing to me is that when several people have seen an obvious anomaly in the sky, give the same report individually then the "authorities" attribute it to GAS....(I've got your gas buddy) Anyway, more people need to turn OFF the TV and go outside look up and learn. I think it's the height of arrogance to think that we are the only planet with life.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I've been interested in SETI for many years and signed up for SETI@home as soon as I could. I run this program because I think the project is a valuable tool in detection of any signals that may come our way. Of course we should transmit our signal for others to find!
