Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. The universe is big enough for another planet with similar conditions to earth, so, yes.
2. Yes, we should and we are already doing it. We should send information about ourselves, our spicies and our planet, and pray that the aliens that finds the information are civilized enough to come here and devour our brains.
3. Cool thing. Keeps my webserver-can-of-shit-components running in the closet so i can use it to dry clothes. And of course, help the community to communicate with eventual aliens. What if _I_ compute the one signal that leads to establishing contact. That sure as hell would be sweet. :)
