Personal background
I'm currently working as a data entry keyer for Royal Mail here in the UK as I write this but am still continuing to do pieces of writing on the side and hope to one day be in a position to make money from that full time.

I live in a coastal city called Plymouth down on the South West of the Uk with my boyfriend and pet cat, Smudge.

I'm into reading, writing, computers and watching Sci-fi on television and film...I like to paint things occasionally, usually only my apartment walls but hey I'm a Picasso in the making right? ;)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that it would be rather ignorant if we all believed that we were the only life in the universe and notebly more ignorant if we're to believe that we might be the most superior race in the universe...why argue something that isn't yet proven for or against?

I believe our on going quest to seek out new life will one day come to fruition but haven't quite decided if we'll make the first contact or someone else might? Perhaps it'll be a joint venture.

Dangers in discovery aren't that much difference to anything else that we try to reach out to for the first time, that's what makes the prospect more exciting and why humans continue to strive and better themselves, to be the first to do something or find something that nobody else has.
