Personal background
um.... im just trying to go home.... lol. I was born in western ky in 1975 (so that puts me at 28 @ this time) I live in St Louis MO now. as of 2 months ago not working cause of a acdent crushed my leg and still cant walk. I own a small network soulutions firm. We only have 8 people working for us(like i said small).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do think extraterrestrial life exists if not thats "alot of wasted space" (what move was that from?? duh) any way most humans aregont to think we are the only life in this vast space. one day i do bleave live off world will reach us i dont think it will be in my time(i was born 400 years too early)
As for the penefits and dangers... well we all watch movies so u can draw ur own picture. I run SETI@home cause for the past 4 years i upgrade my computer ever 4-6 months so I try to have the fastest and best running computers. I have 3 of them now and the fastes is running at 3.5 ghz (amd xp 2400 over clocked and water cooled @ 3.2-3.5 ghz) and its a wasted of a resorce if u dont use it (when im not using it).. well i talk to much so i will shut up now
