I started my Seti@home account right about the time I started at NBC and it serves as an excellent reminder of how long I've been on the job. I have since moved on and now live in England working for GE Consumer Finance, but I have kept up with SETI. My father Hugh also runs the SETI client on the family PC back in Connecticut. Together we get a certain odometer facination with watch the work units click off.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
If SETI were ever to verify a communication from outer space that would be one of the proudest moments in my life. Hopefully I'll live to see it happen.
