| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| Extraterrestrial life has to exist, the universe is too big for there not be any other life other than on Earth. It would be the most important discovery in history if we found life somewhere else, it would put one of the oldest questions to rest but it would also change mans perception of the universe and religion. Humans should transmit a beacon because that would give us better chances of finding extraterrestrial life, other beings could be looking for us too and if they found us first they could contact us. I really dont think there could be much information that we could send because I doubt they could understand anything informatinon that we were to send. I run SETI@home because I want to help find extraterrestrial life . |
