Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
SETI@home, why i'm doing it.

I stumbled upon SETI@home by just browsing the internet, and when I had came upon it I thought it was quite interesting. I was about to download it when I said to myself: "What's in it for me?" Here is a short list of things that I may get out of my experience with SETI@home:

-The aliens could use some sort of advanced technology that can give me the winning lottery numbers.

-I will become famous and recieve offers to endorse products, making me some money.

-I could get a really cool spacecraft.

-Because I have to get off of this damn planet somehow.

-Somebody needs to replace Bush, why not an alien.

-Well, I'm not using all of my computer's processor.

After compiling these facts, I installed SETI@home. I think it's a great way to contribute to the scientific community, and actually feel better that my computer is being used for something useful. Wham-O
