I'm a 26 years old guy from germany.
I work for a huge IT-Consultant firm as a software/systemengineer and in my spare time I love watching movies, reading and to tinker on computers.
In that way, I once found SETI as the worlds best benchmark and a 1st class possibility not to bore my machines to much... :)
Meanwhile I'm addicted to it and try hard to be the first "calling home". ;-) |

In almost the same manner I hope for a first contact, I fear it.
Because prior we have to conceive, not to shoot on everything we don't understand or are able to control!
If we are alone in that vastness, wouldn't it be an unbelievable wastage of space, power and magic?! |
