I believe that we are not alone nor have ever been alone. I think that the Technology we use to look for extra terrestrials is too limited in it's capabilities, and that we will not see anything that does not wish to be seen.
By transmitting a beacon . we will invite anyone good or bad. I also think that if any beings are out there with the capability of seeing us .They would not be interested in contacting such a young crazy backward group of beings as us . What could we offer besides emotional upheavel and war.
My only hope is that if they do not wish to enslave us,that they will be compassionate, and feel sorry for us,and possibly help.
A peoples that travel accross stars will not be interested in a young primate species that has only just begun too look beyond itself. |
