Personal background
I'm 21 from the UK, and I have been searching now for almost 2 years. I want to feel that my computer is doing something useful, as well as I and so I run it 24/7 only for SETI.

Never beleive anything till it has been officially denied.

There is a time and a place for everything, and right now, this is it.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1: I do. I don't know if it will be harmless or dangerous or anything, but it doesn't scare me. I've always had a fascination with space, and this way I feel that I am doing something, rather than sitting back and watching someone else do it.

2: What we look like. How we feel about contact. Also a big sky blue pink neon sign pointing at us saying "Were Here!"

3: I want to be part of something big, I want to show others that I can do something on my own without seeing others get there and do it before I do. I run it because it is special. So far I haven't seen any reports of anything, and I think that if there were a section on findings, no matter how small (even if it was a response from us like something that was reflected) I think telling people would help.

I've always looked for newsgroups for the SETI program, yet I am unable to find somewhere where I can find a listing. Official and non-official ones should I think be posted into an area where anyone can see them and add them to their computers.

Finally, I want to thank you (the creators) for letting the world and I participate in a special subject.
