Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. One would have to so narrow minded to believe that we are the only beings in the vastness of space. How we will discover them is uncertain.

2. Yes we should transmit, why not "Turn on the Porch light" To let others know we are home. We should send of course a greeting but also information about our race, explaining our intentions and warning them about the posible reactions of some so they will know.

3. The reason I run this program is because the thought of the amount of computing power it would take to process the amount of data collected is imence. So I figured I have a good machine, I am always inclass or working, why not donate some processing cycle to the cause. The project is great it give people the feeling of being involved in a program that is so massive.
