Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Opinion: The SETI Project is tops. (Now just to convince the rest of the community were being watched!!!)

Does ETL exist: Yes. Wake up to reality, why would earth be the only planet life could live on? Doh!

Should we transmit a beacon: Hmmmm. Lets first find out if those visitors are friendly before we send them 1960's movies. Any case. Why bother sending a beacon? They knew we were here a long time before we even thaught of going into space!

Why do I run SETI@home? What a question? My PC's got nothing else to do all day. Were sitting with TerraFlops of processing power, and most PC users only use about 5% of processing power in any case (if it is even that much!). Now this software is some awesome keep me bussy stuff (Make that expensive ornament on your desk work!). Any case, in the end of the day we all want proof of ET don't we? If we don't work together, it's not gonna work for us.

Overall: SETI is a great project. I've been processing those figures since the public release of SETI@home.
