Profile: Manolo Blázquez

Personal background
My name is Manolo Blazquez, 37. I'm from Madrid, Spain. I'm electronics industrial engineer. I work in a public high school as a teacher in Technologies. I'm fond of soccer (Real Madrid), astronomics, engineering, music (i like almost all kind of it). I'm married and i have a beautiful little daughther. I'm very worry about climate changes and other kind of human damages on the planet. My philosophy of life is based in a simple idea: I want to give to my daughter and to everyone's children a better place to live than the one our parents gave us.

My pupils and me want to recieve from time to time, some information about other projects developed by high schools (in collaboration or not, with the US universities, in which, boys and girls around 14 to 18 years old, make some kind of team works on technology, to join them.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run Seti@home because of the enormous impact Professor Carl Sagan made in the way i look at everything through his works "Cosmos", and "Contact". I think we have to listen beyond our planet frontiers, because Logic tell us that it's impossible that Earth will be the only planet with intelligent life in Universe. It's a question of time to contact.
