I am also a member of the volunteer fire department in my hometown, spending a great part of my spare time there gives me this warm feeling that I'm doing something good.
I think I need something like that - in a world where the most people don't even know their neighbors names and where "what comes next on TV?" is the most asked question - just trying to do your own little bit to help.
It is not so important what you do or where - just do al least something.
Don't sit around and wait that someone else will do it! - Because in that case nothing will ever happen!

So, this is it, the end.
I will not longer use Seti@Home. The new version is not as, lets say, cool as the old Seti. It is to bloated.
I am sorry, maybe in a few years when a better version is released. |
