Update Oct 7 '07
I'm 65 now and retired full time. I had to abandon SETI on the Intel P4 because of heat problems and there was no way to limit use. I have recently purchased a Acer M5620 w/ Intel Core2 Quad 6600 running at 2.4 GHz. It maintains a good temperature at 3 CPUs devoted to SETI and leaves lots of hp for me. I have great plans to create a Home Theatre with this system at the centre.

Still running. I did a Half Marathon on '05 but have no plans for longer distances. I don't sail as much but have taken up tennis. I'm still not very good at it but I don't hit balls outside the court so much any more.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
ET life almost certainly exists. Intelligent life - ?
SETI is a good project. Cooperative computing should be used in other projects.

Cooperative computing has come a long way since I started with SETI@home. I am only running SETI but may take a shot at some of the other projects.
