Profile: Norbert Bruehl

Personal background
Living in Oklahoma, I'm 54, have been interested in astronomy for 42 years. Work for the dept of the army. SETI is viable and valid in my view. Space exploration is necessary and needed, even tho a great risk, but with large returns and benefits.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
SETI is over loaded and running packets on home PC's is a great idea, If the (bleeping) hackers would leave things alone we'd have a nice environment for exchange of data and info. But alas, along with the good comes the bad. I hope I don't get virused for saying things.
I'm not that computer savy as to make suggestions to you guys with BS's and PHd's. But keep up the good work. And keep it user friendly. Thanks.
