| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I run SETI@home because I want to help out...and I'd love for my computer to be the one to find ET. I honestly don't know what I think about the existence of extraterrestrial life and how humans would discover it, I think my mind is too clouded with Star Trek and Ender. But really, we wouldn't discover it, because it would already be there. And how do we know if find it, maybe it will find us and we just think we found it? Also, how do we know we haven't already transmitted something that would clue others in on our existence - maybe our life is our beacon? |
