Personal background
I'm 21 in Louisville, KY. I work at a newspaper, so if Seti breaks any news on the Extra Terrestrial front, I'm hoping to write the story on it.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that it is ricockulous to deny the possibility of e.t. existance. I think that if they're at the technological level to reach us, we won't know about them until they decide to contact us directly. I don't care what any benefits or dangers there are, cuz if it's gonna happen, it's gonna happen. Screw it and live life.

I don't see why we shouldn't send a beacon, but then, why should we?

I run seti because I want to do my part to help in scientific endeavors. I don't think there is anything that can't be explained by science given the right data and models. Is there a God? We could prove or disprove it given the right data and models, we just don't have them. Is there E.T. life? We could prove of disprove it given the right data and models.
