Hi there.
I'm a 31 year old car-mechanic and live near Wuppertal. Although my favourite
hobbies are horror-movies and series, writing, diving and R/C models it's
interesting to search for life and intelligence in the big space.
I run seti@home on a AMD Duron 850 with 256 MB SD-RAM / 24GB HDD / DVD-Drive /

1.Do you think extraterrestrial life exists?
Absolutely. But maybe we've still not the possibilities to find or discover them yet.
But I don't believe all these stories about seeing an UFO although other life-forms may be able to
build those space-ships.
2.Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? If so, what information should we send?
Well, afaik we did that in the 70's or 80's. And the informations they send with that space probe,
about life on our planet and how to find us are the right things.
3.Why do you run SETI@home?
I know SETI for a couple of years, but first when I saw "Contact" I was convinced to participate.
And maybe I'm the one who finds ET :o)))) |
