I've been a Seti-at-home user (off and on) for many years. I do it in hopes that one day we'll discover friendly life elsewhere in the universe. I think it will take that to make humans stop fighting among themselves.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I love the fact that as an individual, I can participate (in my small way) with other individuals in the largest and most hopeful endeavors of human kind.
