Personal background
I currently live in Fredonia, KS. and am a student of Information Systems Security at Westwood College. I play the guitar, play video games, and mountain bike. I have 2 AMD XP3000+'s each with a GB of ram. They both run a mixed windows/linux environment and are now running boinc full time for both Seti and the Climate Prediction projects, both very important to mankind's future. Other than that feel free to drop me a line if you live in or near Freonia and want to chat.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run boinc simply because wasting processor cycles is, well, stupid. I'm not using them, I don't have money to donate, but I can donate time. As I said before I have fairly good computers for a home user and I only use them a few hours a day but they are always on. Besides the logistics of sharing my CPU's I also have a vested intrest in SETI and atmospheric research. I'm human. People all over the world need to understand that once we step out into the stars it will be great to know where the gas stations and supermarkets of the universe are. Hopefully seti will be able to figure that out for us.
